Josh Lopez is a worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, and musician.

Josh was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Bronx, New York and ended up in Texas where he currently resides with his wife, Martha Lopez. Josh's life story of survival brings hope to his listeners. Among many tragic events growing up, Josh was a homeless teenager at 15 but by the grace of God, as he describes in his music, he was able to reach a life today filled with happiness and dreams made reality.

Early on, he was the lead singer in the Pop Latin group sensation, Jaquemate. After touring Latin America opening up for acts like Ricky Martin and Mana and having a number one single on the charts, Josh came to a point in his life where he wanted to make a difference in people's lives through his music. He had the opportunity to travel and sing with Multi-Grammy Award winner, Israel Houghton. Later, he became the host for the Spanish Inspirational Television show, Alabanza Real, seen in 23 countries. He has worked with artist like Larry Gatlin, Randy Phillips from Phillips, Craig and Dean, Martha Munizzi, Crystal Lewis, GB5, Mark Townsend, Phil Sillas, Ramy Antoun and the list goes on. Currently, he is a worship leader at Shoreline Christian Center in Austin, Texas with Pastor Rob Koke. He and his wife have partnered with the organization, Food for the hungry, to bring relief to starving children all over the world through his music (fh.org/joshlopez). Josh recently signed a major record deal with Koch Records. His new album titled, Free to live will be available in stores and online July 22, 2008. The album features the hit single, "My Savior, My God" by Aaron Shust in Spanish along with many other great songs that are sure to take you on a journey.

Simply put Josh says, "I am just someone who found hope and would like to share that hope with as many people as possible through my music. I love my wife, love people, love Puerto Rican food and love God."
