OTEP AND ILL NINO TO CO-HEADLINE ON UNITE & CONQUER TOUR

NEW ALBUM, THE ASCENSION, TO BE RELEASED ON VINYL ON OCTOBER 28TH, 2008 (New York, NY) - KOCH Records recording artist OTEP announces the Unite & Conquer Tour 2008, a co-headlining tour with favorites ILL NINO. Otep Shamaya is set to bring her blistering live show to fans once again.

OTEP's latest album, The Ascension, is set to be released on vinyl on October 28th, 2008, and will be available at Hot Topic and other retailers across the country. Alternative Press heralded The Ascension as "eloquent and necessary" and Billboard chose as it one of the hot picks of the year. The band has just finished filming its first live DVD, shot in Los Angeles, due out in early 2009.

Otep Shamaya, the captivating singer and brainchild of the group, has made a name for herself outside of music. Singer, Activist, Actress, Writer. ATLANTA'S UNK TO RELEASE SOPHOMORE ALBUM, SECOND SEASON, ON NOVEMBER 4TH, 2008 ON BIG OOMP/KOCH RECORDS

(September 26, 2008) - New York, NY - Big Oomp Records / KOCH Records is set to release UNK's highly-anticipated sophomore album, Second Season. Second Season is the follow up to 2006's Beat'n Down Yo Block, which contained the platinum smash hits, "Walk It Out,"and "2 Step," both approaching a whopping 6 million combined digital/mobile units.

"Show Out," the first single from Second Season was produced DJ Montay, who also produced "Get Low," the record breaking single from Flo-Rida featuring T-Pain. Montay also produced multi-platinum digital singles "Walk It Out" and "2 Step" for UNK, as well as Three 6 Mafia's "I'd Rather."

Based in Decatur, GA, I-20 has one of the deepest and most imposing voices in hip-hop. He met a prestardom Ludacris in 1997, which led to him becoming a member of the multi-platinum rapper's Disturbing Tha Peace collective. Disturbing Tha Peace released their debut album Golden Grain in late 2002. The album sold over 620,000 units and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rap Chart.
